I can't stop photographing Texas.
It's a problem. I go to New York and I walk down the street and nothing. No inspiration, no photographs. As soon as I step foot on the mother land I start snapping away. I need to get over this mental block. In any case, here are some photos.

You can see more images in the new collection of photographs titled Texas Cont'd on my website: www.alexcrawfordphotography.com

Pratt Open Studios
Unfortunately I haven't been getting much (any) commercial work here in New York, but I have still been shooting! As a matter of fact tomorrow evening, from 5-9, I, along with the rest of the Pratt graduate program, will be showing my work on campus. If you live in New York you should come check it out. Here are a few previews:

A Tribute to Mathew Brady
I'm listening to Katy Perry while Facebook stalking my friends and playing Halo all at the same time. I must have a paper due tomorrow. In fact I do, it's on Stephen Shore. If you're not familiar with his photography you should click the link and be enlightened. The paper is for my Critical History of Photography class. Speaking of the history of photography, do you like Mathew Brady? I do. For my digital class I tried to recreate one of his photographs with my friend Austin as the nineteenth century diplomat. Enjoy.

October
I love October. These photos don't necessarily have anything to do with October, I just thought I'd show you some photos I've been taking. These are from a project I did on perceived colors, thus the slightly strange hues.

Night Life
My "night life" in New York has primarily consisted of meeting up with my friends at bars around Williamsburg and the Lower East Side. I'm normally not a street style photographer, but recently I've had to shoot an exorbitant about of photos for my grad school classes so I've been taking my camera with me everywhere. As a result I've been able to document some of my favorite bars.
The last one's my favorite.
